I redesigned the visual identity of the Ecole Nationale Polytechnique (Algiers, Algeria), approaching the project with a deep understanding of the institution’s historical and academic value. My objective was not simply to modernize the logo, but to create a visual system that reflects the spirit, legacy, and prestige of the school.

The core concept was inspired by the architectural character of the main building, recognized as one of the oldest and most iconic structures associated with the institution. I carefully abstracted its distinctive architectural elements into balanced geometric forms, preserving its academic authority while reinforcing its strong engineering identity. Special attention was given to proportion, symmetry, negative space, and scalability to ensure the logo remains powerful, legible, and adaptable across all applications and formats.

In addition, I developed a dedicated logo for the mosque affiliated with the school. While maintaining visual harmony with the main identity, this mark adopts a calmer and more spiritual visual language. The design emphasizes simplicity, refined detailing, and symbolic clarity to express serenity and belonging, while remaining aligned with the overall institutional identity.

This project was more than a redesign; it was a strategic visual rebranding process that respects heritage, represents the present, and aligns with the future — executed with precision, conceptual depth, and meticulous attention to every detail.
